How We’ve Protected Drone Volt for a Decade

At DALO Industry Days 2025, our sales manager Claus Amondsen met with Kim Larsen, Managing Director at Drone Volt Scandinavia, to talk about our near decade-long partnership. Read about that conversation right her.
Since 2015, Drone Volt has been a key player in the Danish drone market. As a reseller of DJI and brands like CHASING and Hercules, they supply both hobbyists and professional users across inspection, construction, emergency services, and logistics.
With drones operating in everything from harsh weather to underwater environments, protection is critical. Over the years, Guardique has supplied rugged cases and custom-cut foam to keep Drone Volt’s equipment safe in the toughest conditions.
A Partnership Built on Flexibility
Kim explains:
“We started in 2015 in Denmark, and I don’t think more than a year passed before we went to Keld (CCO at Guardique Products A/S) and had the first Phantom cases made.”
He highlights the flexibility that has defined the collaboration:
“We make the first version, and there are always a few tweaks. Then we call you, and you adjust that last five percent. After that, the series runs until the product is end-of-line. You have good designers, you are flexible, and we know that we can come to you at short notice. We like that you have a pragmatic approach to how we should solve things".
Cases for Every Requirement
Over the years, the partnership has produced solutions using both Extreme Cases and Peli Cases. Most recently, Drone Volt’s Cobra series uses Peli cases we supply to meet the demands of their high-tech platform. As Kim puts it:
“It has to be the right quality for that drone. Sometimes price matters too, but it’s always been fair.”
