At Linde Larsen Flightcases, we build cases for a lot of exciting companies. One of those is Timmpi, a French company specialized in immersive audio technology. Today, we want to tell you a bit about our collaboration with Timmpi and how they work towards achieving a goal of creating unique sound experiences for everyone. 

Who is Timmpi and what do they do?

Timmpi is a French company specialized in immersive audio solutions that work to improve sound experiences for everyone - especially people who cannot experience music the same way others can due to hearing impairments. One of the products Timmpi sells is the Woojer Live Series 3 vest. 

While wearing the vest, haptic feedback and bone conduction devices placed 360 degrees around the upper body will literally make you feel the music - a genius feature for live performances, as a studio tool for producers, or to enhance cinema, VR or gaming experiences. 

How are we working with Timmpi?

We have developed a series of IP cases for Timmpi. The IP cases are water and scratch resistant, made of lightweight recyclable plastics and branded with Timmpi’s cool colors and logo. 

The cases are used as storage units for the Woojer Live Series 3 vests. The cases also double as charging stations, so the vests will charge while being stored or transported from A to B. 

Why is the case so important for hardware companies?

While some of our customers ‘just’ need a functional flight case or IP case to transport equipment, others want the case itself to be a product. Timmpi is an example of this. They have a top notch product so they need a top notch wrapping for it. That’s where we come into play. 

When we design a case for a product like the Woojer Live Series 3 vest, we ensure that the case is worthy of the product it protects. As Timmpi’s products are for audiences, a lot of people will see them, so the look of the casing is important. That’s why we go above and beyond to create a case that’s both functional and good-looking.
