Foam Saw

At Linde Larsen Flightcases, we have decades of experience in designing, developing and manufacturing custom foam solutions for all industries. We use a variety of tools and methods to make foam solutions that are tailored to specific purposes. One of the machines we use in our foam manufacturing process is the foam saw. As we deal with tonnes of foam sheets on a daily basis, the foam saw comes in handy. While cutting detailed foam interiors is a job for the CNCs or the waterjet cutter, the foam saw is great for preparatory work. By using this machine, we can cut up large foam sheets into smaller sheets that are easier to handle.

What is a foam saw?

No breaks: Using the foam saw, we can cut large amounts of foam without stopping. This is unlike automated cutting machines that stop after cutting the material that has been put on the table.

Effective prep work: With a foam saw, we can effectively do basic cutting tasks such as sizing down large sheets of foam into smaller, more manable sheets that fit on the CNC or waterjet.

Simple tool: Unlike our CNC cutting machines and waterjets, the foam saw is manually operated. This makes it faster to start the cutting process, and still provides a good level of precision.
