Conductive Foam Flame Retardant Foam

Conductive Foam is specifically designed to protect electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Flame Retardant Foam, on the other hand, is treated to be highly resistant to fire, making it suitable for environments where fire safety is crucial.

What is Technical Foam?

Technical foam is foam that has special properties and thereby is great for specific purposes. The special properties can come from a chemical treatment or from the material itself.

For example, ESD foam can get its anti-static properties from carbon that guides static charges away from electronic components. Acoustic foam, on the other hand, gets its sound-insulating properties from its open-celled structure which traps sound waves in the complex shapes of the foam so they can’t escape.
