Flightcases International A/S sells our products and special solutions direct to businesses and offers up to 30 days’ credit (subject to approval). We are specialists in all kinds of transport boxes, foam liners, storage products etc. and can provide no-obligation advice on the choice of solution and product. Contact one of our salespeople by telephone or e-mail if you have any questions or would like more information.

For companies, you can use a payment card or pay against an invoice. You can also call +45 3321 4444 and order. (Note that the invoicing option requires credit approval). All prices are incl. VAT and other charges; there is no payment card fee, handling charge etc. You will only be charged the cost of carriage. The prices reflect today’s rates.

Note that all purchases not made via our website will have carriage added. 

Purchases made by payment card will only be debited when the item(s) is/are dispatched. You cannot be charged a larger amount than you agreed to. We will encrypt all your card details using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. That means that outsiders cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction with PBS. You can choose to shop as a guest or set up an account. If you shop as a guest, you will always receive an order confirmation, waybill and invoice as a PDF attachment sent to the e-mail address you have given us. Warranty, returns policy and cooling-off period
Business customers have no right of return unless agreed otherwise in writing. If so, the purchaser is entitled to be refunded an amount equal what was paid for the goods, once Flightcases International A/S has approved the returned item. Freight costs, insurance, fees etc. will not be refunded. Special requests and items manufactured to order, individual Flightcases and foam liners etc. cannot be returned. We will not take back any goods that are not stock items and are to be procured separately. For all foam requests, tolerances are as per DIN 7715 P2 or as agreed. Please contact us if you are not sure of tolerances and would like a fact sheet..


Prices

The quoted prices are subject to changes in customs duties and consumption taxes of any kind, and sudden fluctuations in exchange rates and commodity prices. If Flightcases International A/S wishes to cite such changes, the customer must be notified of this immediately


Payment, interest calculation

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the purchase price will fall due for payment net 30 days from the invoice date. In the case of late payment, interest will automatically be charged at 2.0% per month or part of a month from the due date. When the purchase price is paid after the claim has been referred to the courts for collection, the customer will bear all recovery costs.


Liability – general

Apart from cases where claims and liability are covered by mandatory provisions in the applicable law on product liability, the following provisions apply to Flightcases International A/S’s liability for damage caused by goods or services provided. Flightcases International A/S is not liable for any operating losses, lost time, loss of profits or other indirect losses. Flightcases International A/S cannot be held liable for the use of the product in inappropriate designs or for compliance of the purchaser’s end-product with official requirements. If Flightcases International A/S should incur product liability to third parties, the purchaser must release Flightcases International A/S from the portion of any claim for compensation that exceeds its product liability cover.


Force majeure

If Flightcases International A/S is prevented from or delayed in meeting its delivery obligations by circumstances which Flightcases International A/S cannot reasonably control, including fire, war, strikes, lock-outs, currency restrictions, import or export embargos or the like, Flightcases International A/S may suspend its obligations without incurring any liability for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the purchaser as a result of the suspension.


Sales to public institutions

Flightcases International A/S sells its products and special solutions direct to a large number of public institutions and offers up to 30 days’ credit oand offers up to 30 days’ credit. For example, we have framework agreements with the Danish Armed Forces covering transport boxes and foam.

We are specialists in all kinds of transport boxes, foam liners, storage products etc. and can provide no-obligation advice on the choice of solution and product. Contact one of our salespeople by telephone or e-mail if you have any questions or would like more information.

To buy using an PO number, you can either telephone, send an order or shop via our website, quoting your PO number at check-out (note that the invoicing option requires credit approval). Flightcases International A/S sells its products and special solutions direct to individuals. As a private customer, you can purchase via prior payment. You can pay by credit card (Dankort, Mastercard etc.) and Mobilepay. All prices are incl. VAT and other charges; there is no payment card fee, handling charge etc. You will only be charged the cost of carriage. The prices reflect today’s rates.

All shipments are sent via Postnord. You can also opt for collection from us in Herlev, and you can always see the price of carriage before you buy. You can see this when you place an item in the shopping cart. You can then get an estimate of the carriage cost. All purchases over DKK 500 are delivered free of charge in Denmark.

For warranty claims and returns, remember to label the package with ‘Warranty claim’ or ‘Return’ and enclose your contact information. If you have sent in a return or a warranty claim, you will always be sent an e-mail when we have received the goods. The e-mail will tell you about the next steps in handling your return/warranty claim..

It is not a requirement, but the process will be facilitated if the package is accompanied by complete information, such as a copy of the order confirmation, sort code and account number of the bank account to which the refund should be made, copies of any previous correspondence etc. The warranty rules in the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven) may apply to any purchase of goods.

In accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, we offer a 24-month warranty. This means you can claim for any defects up to two years after purchase. Within the first six months, you will be covered by a ‘presumption rule’, which means that any faults and defects arising within this period may be assumed to have been present at the time of purchase, so you are entitled to a replacement. After the first six months, the burden of proof that the defect was present at the time of purchase passes to you, the purchaser. It is a condition for replacement that the fault is not due to improper use of the product. If you wish to claim in respect of a defect, you must do so ‘within a reasonable time’ of detecting the fault. If you claim within two months of detecting the fault, this will always be considered to be within a reasonable time. If the claim is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) freight costs. The goods should always be returned in proper packaging, and remember to obtain proof of posting so we can refund your carriage costs..

Policy and responsibility for special requests applicable to all customers

For all requests produced by Flightcases International A/S, including specially-made Flightcases, all foam products and individual foam liners, the following conditions apply:

Wherever possible, Flightcases International A/S will produce drawings of all requests for approval. However, this excludes requests produced manually and jobs where it is not possible to produce a drawing. As a rule, these will be one-off requests where only a single item is produced. Flightcases International A/S will endeavour to produce easily understood and complete drawings, so customers know what they are getting – and can easily approve their requests. When you approve a drawing, it is your responsibility as customer to ensure that the drawing is correct, with regard to the amount and positioning of equipment. If you provide your own drawings, it is up to you to ensure that the dimensions are correct. We recommend that equipment should be sent to us for measurement, as this has been found to give the best results. If we measure objects, we are responsible for ensuring that measurements and dimensions are correct. Any adjustments to drawings for which the customer is responsible will be charged at the actual cost of the corrections. It is important for you to check that drawings match your wishes, as orders for specially made Flightcases and special foam liners are binding on you.


Warranty claims

The purchaser must check and examine the goods immediately upon receipt. Claims in respect of non-visible damage must be made no later than eight days after the earliest point at which the defect could have been detected. Claims in respect of a part-delivery do not entitle the buyer to cancel the rest of the order. A claim must be submitted in writing (no later than eight days after receipt/detection of the fault) and include a detailed account of the nature of the faults or defects. Flightcases International A/S must approve a warranty claim before the goods are returned. If the delivery is faulty, Flightcases International A/S undertakes, at its own discretion, either to rectify the fault, to replace the defective delivery by supply of an equivalent item, or to credit the amount paid for the defective delivery. Flightcases International A/S accepts no liability for consequential damage caused by faults in the goods delivered, and will not cover the costs of delayed deliveries, postponements, lost time or other inconvenience.


Delivery time, delay

Flightcases International A/S will send an order confirmation for all orders, indicating quantities, prices and delivery date. The delivery date is the date on which the order is sent out from our factory. If a delay is due to circumstances that may be classed as force majeure, the delivery time may be extended for as long as the impediment has existed. Flightcases International A/S may postpone (or cancel) an order if the customer is in arrears with payment for previous deliveries..
