Plastazote LD33

Plastazote LD33 is a lightweight, closed-cell polyethylene foam with a density of approximately 33 kg/m³. It is part of the Plastazote foam family, renowned for its durability, flexibility, and superior thermal insulation properties. This foam is manufactured using a nitrogen expansion process, making it non-toxic, odorless, and free of harmful chemicals.

Key characteristics of Plastazote LD33 include:

  • Lightweight: Its moderate density makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, combining durability and ease of handling.
  • Closed-cell structure: Offers excellent resistance to water, moisture, and air penetration.
  • Shock absorption: Ideal for cushioning, impact resistance, and vibration damping.
  • Thermal insulation: Excellent thermal conductivity of 0.039 W/mK at 10°C makes it perfect for insulation applications.
  • Flammability: Meets automotive FMVSS.302 standards with a burn rate of less than 100 mm/min and passes at 9 mm thickness.
  • Non-toxic and hypoallergenic: Safe for use in medical and food-related applications.
  • Dimensions: Standard plank dimensions are 2000x1200 mm with thickness ranging from 1-300 mm.
