Plastazote LD60

Plastazote LD60 is a high-density, closed-cell polyethylene foam with a density of approximately 60 kg/m³. It is part of the Plastazote foam family, celebrated for its exceptional strength, durability, and thermal stability. This foam is manufactured using a nitrogen expansion process, ensuring it is non-toxic, odorless, and free of harmful chemicals.

Key characteristics of Plastazote LD60 include:

  • High-density: Provides superior strength and durability for demanding applications.
  • Closed-cell structure: Offers excellent resistance to water, moisture, and air penetration.
  • Shock absorption: Ideal for applications requiring impact resistance and vibration damping.
  • Thermal stability: Maintains performance at temperatures up to 100°C, with excellent resistance to shrinkage.
  • Flammability: Meets automotive FMVSS.302 standards with a burn rate of less than 100 mm/min and passes at 6 mm thickness.
  • Non-toxic and hypoallergenic: Safe for use in sensitive applications, including medical and food-related uses.
  • Dimensions: Standard plank dimensions are 2000x1200 mm with thickness ranging from 1-300 mm.
