Plastazote LD45FR
Plastazote LD45FR is a flame-retarded, closed-cell polyethylene foam with a density of approximately 45 kg/m³. It belongs to the Plastazote foam family, known for its durability, flexibility, and flame-resistant properties. This foam is manufactured using a nitrogen expansion process, making it non-toxic, odorless, and free of harmful chemicals.
Key characteristics of Plastazote LD45FR include:
- Flame-retardant: Meets aviation standards CS 25.853 and FAR 25.853 for flame resistance and UL94 HF1 for flammability at 3 mm thickness.
- Moderate density: Combines strength and lightweight properties for versatile applications.
- Closed-cell structure: Provides excellent resistance to water, moisture, and air penetration.
- Thermal stability: Performs effectively at temperatures up to 105°C with minimal shrinkage.
- Impact resistance: Ideal for cushioning and vibration damping in demanding environments.
- Dimensions: Standard plank dimensions are 2000x1200 mm with thickness ranging from 1-300 mm.
